We offer Whois privacy protection service for free. You can add this option during the registration, but in case your domain is already registered, please contact us and we will enable it for your account.
Once Domain Name Whois Privacy service is activated for your domain, the contact information in Whois will be hidden and will look like this:
The email address, listed in Whois, will look like as email@example.com and all messages, sent to this email address, will be forwarded to the registrant email.
You can disable WHOIS Privacy protection service for your domain. In order to do this, please perform the following actions:
- Log in to your account with us;
- Go to Domains > My Domains:
- Click on WHOIS button:
- Click on the Disable WHOIS Privacy button:
Due to registry restrictions, WHOIS Privacy protection cannot be used with .us domains. The .US Registry policy for Registrars states that no registrar, nor any of its resellers, affiliates, partners and/or contractors shall be permitted to offer anonymous or proxy domain name registration services which prevent the Registry from having and displaying the true and accurate data elements.
