- Choose General Instructions from See step-by-step instructions for performing this step with drop-down list, and click Next.
- Copy Destination or Points to Address information for TXT record from the table (this string is needed for your domain verification). Please do not close Office 365 page as you will need it later to complete the verification process. You can find detailed directions at Office 365 support portal.
- Log in to your DomainName account;
- Go to Domains > My Domains:

- Click DNS button:

- On DNS Management page create new DNS record in the empty line: indicate @ as a Host Name, choose SPF (TXT) as a Record Type, paste Destination or Points to Address value you have copied earlier from your Office 365 account to the Address field. Click Save Changes. Please wait for 30 minutes approximately until these changes take effect.

Important: TXT record can be set from our side only if the domain is pointed to our default nameservers, which are the following:

ns3.domainname.com

- Come back to Office 365 page and click Done, verify now;
- Then click Finish. Your domain should have Verified status now in your domains list. You can find detailed directions at Office 365 support portal.

Step 3. Point your domain to Office 365 nameservers

Important: If you change nameservers for your domain all the services you already use with your domain may be affected. So if you have any concerns please contact us before going for this step.

- Log in to your DomainName account;
- Go to Domains > My Domains:

- Click on NS button:

- Choose Use custom nameservers. Enter ns1.bdm.microsoftonline.com as Nameserver 1 and ns2.bdm.microsoftonline.com as Nameserver 2. Click Change Nameservers.

Please note that it may take up to 24-72 hours for the nameservers to propagate.

Now as your domain is hosted on Office 365 nameservers all the settings required for their services can be done on their side.
