Email accounts: adding and managing in cPanel

Last Updated: Jul 14, 2014 06:50AM EDT
Having a hosting package with Domainname.com you can afford not just an email address with your domain, but a full-featured email account. Depending on the hosting package you’ve purchased, the amount of such accounts can vary from ten to infinity:

Email Hosting  - 10
Starter hosting - 10
Business hosting - 50
E-commerce hosting - unlimited amount of email accounts

To create an email account you need to log in to cPanel, go to Mail section and click the “Email accounts” button. Then you choose the domain/subdomain from the right drop-down menu, input the name of your box and type the password. You should also input the quota – the disc space for the account – in the field where 250 MB is set as default. After clicking on “Create account” you will see it in the account list below.

Also you can see more detailed instructions here.

After account creation you can change all the settings, except the account name. To manage your account settings you are provided with several buttons that are set in a line with each account in the list. With their help you can change disc space usage, change password and configure email clients.
